Decoratif Melange Earrings

A deliberate mismatch, and a very elegant one. One earring opens in blue at the ear, the other in red. At the base the two change places, so the blue closes in red and the red in blue — a colour that crosses between the ears and completes only when the pair is worn together.

Between those points, the stones gather as though they arrived that way. Ruby and pink in oval and round, pearls resting among them, each stone at its own scale and its own angle, each placed by eye and judged against the one before it. The freedom is entirely composed.

A fine scrolled line of diamond carries the arrangement from above — the Art Deco note in the piece, drawn with a light hand.

At the base of each, a trillion hangs free and swings as the wearer moves.

In white gold.
