Privacy Policy
Eve Li Fine Jewellery respects your privacy and handles your personal data with care. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to eveli.co.uk and to purchases made with us in person.
Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us — name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, payment details, and anything else you choose to provide when you order, open an account, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us.
Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, access times, and how you move through the website.
Cookies — we use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control these through your browser settings, and non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
Why we use it
To fulfil your order and provide the service you have asked for: processing payment, arranging delivery, managing your account, handling repairs and warranty claims, and answering enquiries.
To send you marketing, where you have asked us to. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
To operate and improve the website and understand how it is used.
To meet our legal obligations, prevent fraud, and protect the security of our customers and our business.
Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our behalf — payment processors, shipping and logistics carriers, IT and website providers, and marketing platforms. They receive only what they need, are bound to protect it, and may use it only for the purposes we specify.
Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or in response to a valid request.
An acquiring party, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business or its assets.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
International handling
We are an international business, and your data may be held or processed outside your own country by us or by the service providers listed above. Wherever it is held, it is protected by the same standards set out in this policy, and we require the same of anyone handling it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records: seven years, to meet accounting and tax obligations.
Account and customer records: while your account is open, and for two years afterwards.
Marketing consent records: until you unsubscribe, and for two years afterwards.
Website analytics: twenty-six months.
Enquiries and correspondence: two years from the last contact.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Payment details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and to provide a copy of it. You may ask us to correct anything inaccurate. You may ask us to delete it, other than records we are required to keep. You may ask us to stop using it for marketing, at any time and without giving a reason.
Write to info@eveli.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Direct marketing
We use your name and contact details for direct marketing only where you have given consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time, free of charge, by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to info@eveli.co.uk. We stop on receipt.

Our site links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Our website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
