Love Notes Earrings

A heart at the end of a short drop, and the whole earring arranged to lead the eye to it.

At the ear, a fluted disc of white gold, the pleats catching light on their own. Below it an oval stone, then a smaller one, then a single diamond — the drop narrowing as it falls, until the heart arrives at the base in wide sculpted claws.

The colour deepens as it goes. Ruby into garnet in the red, sapphire into blue topaz in the blue: one colour, warming or brightening as it descends.

At 22 millimetres it is an easy length — light enough for every day, and quietly romantic for those who notice.
