Blush Aurora Earrings

A single magenta stone at the centre of the drop, holding the whole earring.

Above it, a cushion cut at the ear, near-colourless with the faintest warm cast, in four rose gold claws. Below, a generous rose quartz cushion, pale and translucent, in four broader claws. Both are cut with domed, softly rounded facets, so light rolls across the surface in a slow shift and each reads almost as white from across a room.

Between them the oval arrives in full colour, claw-set and hung on an open link so it moves on its own. Placed exactly halfway down, it is where the eye settles every time.

That is the pleasure of the piece. Two generous stones kept quiet, one saturated stone given the entire colour, and the proportion arranged so the eye goes precisely where Eve intends.

Rose gold throughout, used sparingly in claws and links — the single warm line through three pale stones, and what gives the drop its warmth.
