Emerald Cascade Earrings

Two Colombian emeralds to each ear, the square above and the long octagon below, with a single diamond between them. Clean, upright, and an easy thing to put on in the morning.

Colombia gives emerald a green nobody else quite reaches — warm, faintly blue, and deeply saturated. These four were chosen together, matched across the pair for colour and for depth, so the two ears read as one piece. Emerald is a stone defined by what grew inside it, and every one carries its own markings, which makes finding four in agreement the real work of the earring.

Both stones are step-cut, the long flat facets running in parallel planes. That cut holds colour in depth, and the open table lets the eye travel straight down into the green. Each is claw-set with the girdle left clear, so light enters from behind and carries through.

The diamond sits between them, holding the two emeralds apart and putting the one white note in the drop exactly where the green needs it. At the ear, a fluted white gold disc takes the light across a plain surface, and leaves the stones to themselves.

The Regal Line is built on the three great colours — ruby, sapphire, emerald — set plainly and worn often.
